Grievance procedures: Letter from an employer setting out its response to a grievance when it has been agreed that the modified grievance procedure will apply (letter)

TOPICS:
terms, conditions and employee rights policies and procedures

AUTHOR: Lynda Macdonald

Letter wording: I refer to your [letter/e-mail/fax] dated [date] indicating that you [have a complaint against the organisation/are aggrieved about the way you were treated during your employment with the organisation/left your employment because you were dissatisfied with the way in which your complaint alleging [state nature of complaint] was being dealt with].

We subsequently agreed in writing that, since you have already left our employment, we would deal with this matter under the modified statutory grievance procedure (rather than the standard statutory grievance procedure).
