Introduction

Under reg.13 of the Working Time Regulations 1998 (SI 1998/1833), workers are entitled to four weeks' leave in each leave year. Regulation 13A, brought into force by the Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2007 (SI 2007/2079) on 1 October 2007, introduced entitlement to a period of 1.6 weeks' additional annual leave.
